Silver Bells

City sidewalks,busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air there's a feeling of Christmas
/children laughing,people passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner you hear
Silver bells,silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring a ling,hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas day
Strings of street lights,even stop lights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers run home with their treasures
Hear the snow crunch,see the kids bunch
This is santa's big scene
And above the bustle you hear...

It's Christmas time in the city

Soon it will be Christmas day

There would be snow flakes...presents filled the stockings and under the Christmas tree...Christmas carols playing in the house...wonderful aroma of the grilled turkey and shepherd's pie will fill the room...little kids running around..old folks gathering near the fireplace sharing stories...mothers busied themselves with the preparation of food...fathers laughing heartily,drinking Chivas...laughter filled the room...having the best time of their lives...a wonderful sight to behold...
